Door Picture Prompt - 100 words
“Face it Frank, we’re lost.”
“No, we’re not. I know exactly where we are.”
“Where are we then?”
“We’re in Porta Vallarta.”
“Very funny. You do know that the cruise ship leaves in less
than an hour. I’m going to knock on that door and ask directions.”
“Don’t do that. Just give me a minute to look at the map.”
“You never want to ask directions.”
“But I’ve got everything under control, Helen. Now where did
I put that map?”
“I’m going to knock on that door right now.”
“Ouch!”
“Now what?”
“I ran into that cactus.”
“Serves you right!”
Haha...men are all programmed that way! ;)

ReplyDeleteThanks, RH! I like having a challenge like this to focus me and I thought it would be fun to only use dialogue, too.
DeleteEnjoyed it and it might just be a conversation I have with my husband :)
ReplyDeleteLots of us can relate, I'm sure. At least we have GPS to help us these days but even it isn't 100%. Sometimes you just have to ask directions!
