  1. Love this, Cat! Nice how you've shaped the poem to reflect a squirrel's movements. Well done!

  3. Love it, Cathy! ☺ Those dastardly squirrels, eh? I love watching them in the backyard. Especially fun when the little red ones give the big ones hell and chase them away.

    1. Aren't they little devils, Debbie? I have a love/hate relationship with the little ba....er cuties. I'd love to see those red ones giving the big ones hell. I find our black ones here are such bullies. I like the red ones better as they are so cute and not quite as aggressive.

  6. Love your poem! sounds just like a squirrel. I could see one flitting from branch to branch and dangling as I was reading it... Love squirrels: though they're quite destructive: I had a family of squirrels get into the hood of my truck and chew through wires: couldn't even get my truck started and have to have it towed to the shop. $400 later I was really pissed off at those cute little buggers that I always used to feed! :)

    1. OMG! What an ordeal with squirrels, Michele! I don't blame you for being pissed off at them. I would be, too. Thanks for stopping by. Sorry to take so long to reply.

    1. Thanks, Suzy. The red squirrels are my favourites over the big black brutes. Thanks for your comment.
