H is for Health

Good health is more valuable than money and jewels
More precious than mansions with Olympic-sized pools,
Don’t worry so much that it makes you blue
Live each day mindfully and take care of you,
Good health means nurturing body and soul
Staying healthy should be a daily goal.

    1. It's very true. We do take it for granted until we don't have it. Thanks for dropping by, Kathy.

  3. YOu can deal with anything as long as you have health. Especially moms. Especially THIS mom who has been downed by a stomach virus.

    1. Thanks for commenting, Corinne. Good health is so precious. I realize this more and more as I age. Thanks for the comment on the blog. I am learning more about the features and thought I'd simplify it a bit to make it look cleaner. Too cluttery before.

  7. Oh, such good advice - says she, taking another swig from her can of (unhealthy) beer! But, apart from arthritis in my hip, I've been more fortunate than many of my aging peers who have had all kinds of health problems (and touch wood that isn't tempting fate!)

    1. I don't think an occasional beer can hurt, Paula. Good to hear you're in good health and aging well. Good for you! I am trying to do the same and don't take good health for granted the way I did in my youth when I ate badly and had erratic sleep routines. Can't do that anymore.

    1. Aw, thanks, Suzy. Glad you liked my little post. I'm having fun coming up with something each day for the challenge. I never know what I'll think of and that's what makes it such fun. Hope you're having fun with it, too, which I think you are.
