A is for April

I am participating in the A-Z Blogging Challenge for 2014

and today is the first day of the challenge. I look forward to lots of creativity and sharing in the month ahead.

A is for April and spring is here
What a winter we’ve had this year!
Too cold, too long and always snowing
With icy winds that never stopped blowing,

Now days are longer, the sun is brighter
My mood is already feeling lighter,
Still snow on the ground doesn’t mean a thing
It’s April in Canada and to us that means spring!

Here is a photo of our Malamute, Loup in our backyard. As you can see, we still have loads of snow but hey, it's April and that means spring is here, dammit!

Here is a link to a funny Canadian Tire video that sums it up so well how Canadians celebrate the arrival of spring. It's spring if we say so!

  9. I believe you - it's Spring I know. We didn't much snow this year, I didn't miss it. I woke up and thought it was snowing the other morning, but it was all the white cherry blossoms bursting forth :) Reflex Reactions

Then we got the rain and by afternoon, the sun was wanly making an appearance. It's supposed to rain again tomorrow and Thursday and Friday!!!!AURGH. Will my water-logged hands and feet ever get normal again? Oh well. I like your dog.
