C is for Crazy Cat Lady

I’d like to have a house full of cats
Just the way some folks have mats,
Cats on couches and every chair
Wonderful felines everywhere,
Short-haired, long-haired, skinny or fat
I adore every kind of cat,
Sadly I am the owner of only two
What’s a cat-loving gal to do?
I’d like to have as many cats as socks
Can you imagine the smell of the litterbox?

    1. Thanks for commenting, Rajlakshmi. I have two outdoor dogs, too, a red Siberian and an Alaskan Malamute but must admit to favouring cats.

  6. My daughter adores cats, especially the stray ones which come and drink milk at my in-laws' place. She loves the way they nuzzle against her. I guess she would echo your thoughts. Cute poem :)

    1. Thanks, Cristina. Sorry to hear you're allergic to cats. That must be miserable. I would hate that. I'd probably have them anyway and put up with it.

  9. Ha! Well, my husband is terribly allergic to them, otherwise we'd probably have a couple. He's adopted two and given them to friends after a day of being unable to breathe. Great poem though.

    1. Thanks! I do love my kitties. Just have both a cat and a dog. I have two cats and two dogs. At one point we had 4 dogs and 3 cats. That was too many but my hubs just can't say no when people offer him dogs.

  15. Aww...I love your two cats...they look gorgeous! I have 2 as well...at one stage I thought of getting a third but I think I'm ok with two for now. As you said, litterbox smells are something I don't think I could handle with more. Plus my two are very demanding in terms of attention! Lovely poem Cat! :D
