V is for Village

I found it funny that I really struggled to write this short non-rhyming poem and yet the rhyming ones seem to just pour out of me. Any time is a time for rhyme!

Connected by the Internet,

The world has grown smaller.

We may live in different countries,

With different cultures, races,

languages and religions.

United in our shared humanity,

We are all part of the Global Village.

This April I am participating in the A-Z Challenge

and the NaPoWroMo Challenge NaPoWriMo where I will write a post and a poem for each letter of the alphabet each day in April except for Sundays.

My biggest complain with myself is that I can't write anything that rhymes. :( However hard I think, it just doesn't work :(
